The use of pesticides in India is regulated by the Central Board of Insecticide and Registration committee (CIBRC) under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. The new act to regulate the pesticide industry as well as monitor pesticide poisoning and compensate the victims has come up and is called the Pesticide Management Bill, 2020. Once the bill is passed by the Standing Committee, it will replace the Insecticide Act, 1968. Considering all the latest updates and trends in the Indian agrochemical regulation.
